“Due to Covid-19, our Earth Day and other plans have had to dramatically change, as I know so many other organizations’ and individuals’ plans have,” said Jan Schaper, Education Coordinator for the League. “We wanted to bring people together for an informative and uplifting hour, addressing their questions and concerns. At the League, we believe in empowering individuals through engagement, education and encouragement to take action.”
The League is a non-partisan, non-profit dedicated to encouraging climate justice, facilitating climate education and empowering civic engagement. The League prioritizes developing local partnerships with grassroots leaders in Arkansas communities on the frontlines of environmental injustice and climate impacts.
