People Power Project
We’re honored and excited to announce that the Arkansas Climate League’s People Power Team has been awarded an additional $100,000 via the Department of Energy’s Community Energy Innovation Prize. Our Fort Smith centered People Power Project is delivering community center solar installations, community energy efficiency education & access, and engaging with students around clean energy.
Our Team Members include representatives from the Elizabeth McGill Center, UAFS, Antioch for Youth and Family, Arkansas Advanced Energy Foundation and Citizens’ Climate Lobby Fort Smith Chapter. Learn more about the Innovation Prize and Prize Winners here:
