The Fort Smith Community Turns Out for Autumn Vibes

We were wonderfully overwhelmed by the outpouring of community spirit and friendship at our Arkansas Climate League  Autumn Vibes Garden Party on Sunday, October 5th.  Thank you to all who volunteered, donated, and attended!   Paula Releford, who is President of the Lincoln Alumni, won two raffle prizes:  A bat house and a bee house – both donated by the Sebastian County Conservation District.  The beautiful pawpaw tree donated by the great folks at Pine Ridge Gardens and the glorious figurine donated by board member Shelley Buonaiuto were equally well celebrated by other raffle winners!   Arkansas Climate League Assistant Administrator Tara McDaniel was busy at our Resource Center table.  She distributed LED light bulbs and took orders for basic DIY energy efficiency items like door sweeps that we’ll be making available to local residents later this year via our Resource Center.

These incredible community groups also set up information tables.
