People Power Team Wins Big in Final Round

Happy, serious successes like the win our People Power Team achieved in the final round of the Community Energy Innovation Prize held in Chicago in December arise from sustained commitment.  We’re excited that our Team’s gritty determination and the positive change we’re generating on Fort Smith’s north side earned us a second place $160,000 final award for a total of $360,000 over three Prize phases.  The Prize began with over 100 applications from around the country earlier this year.

We’re also very, very mindful that the 200 plus supporters who have believed in the Climate League’s mission and have given their time, talent and treasure over the last 8 years are the foundation of this win.  Thank you for powering our shared pursuit of a just green energy transition.  Together, we’re improving lives.
